Woof Everyone!

I am a Frenchie (French Bulldog) and my name is Beastro - Beast or Beastie. Actually, I'll answer to anything, and if there is food involved - it's all over!!

In the timeline of life I have had several careers... My life started as a CUTE little puppy with huge ears, and when I grew into them I was introduced to something called a show ring. I'm still not sure what that was all about, because all I did was parade around in a circle on the end of a leash. My maternal instincts (or something) kicked in when I was around a year old because all of a sudden I was mom and Alpha to one, two, ohmygosh three litters of pups. Enough is enough - wouldn't you say?? My body rebelled, and quick as a growl, I was no longer capable of producing squirmy little critters.

Here comes part two... or three...? All of a sudden I was in a new home with ANOTHER canine - a BIG CANINE and became very confused. I had been Alpha my whole life, and no canine was going to rule ME. Well... After two weeks of body slamming, growling and just plain rudeness - I gave in to the "Big Dog" and now we are the best of friends.

Only too soon I found out that I had to use manners at all times... Manners? I was used to doing just as I pleased, but when I found out how smoothly life could run with several obedience classes under my collar - I relaxed, feeling that I no longer had to run everything. All was under control. Whew!

Because of scrumptious treats, and my HUGE head (maybe it's full of brains?) I learned very quickly. Hey, I discovered that learning is FUN. I jumped right on the Canine Good Citizen band wagon, went on to become a Certified Therapy Dog, and somehow in the middle of it all found myself doing still photos for PetSmart ads. My goal is to break into commercials - Woof, what the heck... maybe even a movie. Little ads - little treats... BIG commercials... BIG TREATS!

When I'm not eating, sleeping, playing or goofing off, you can find me in the local hospital's Pediatric ward visiting kids and staff. Oh, and if you want me to visit your classroom - I'll tell all you humans about how to be a responsible pet owner, and how not to get bitten by stray or strange canines.
